Clashes erupt between Israeli forces & Ethiopian Jews

Violent clashes erupt in central Tel Aviv as Israeli forces fire stun grenades to disperse thousands of Ethiopians protesting against racism and police brutality.

The protest was held outside the Azrieli towers in central Tel Aviv. Local media reports say at least 20 policemen and several protesters have been injured. Protesters have blocked major arteries and junctions, vowing to continue rallies until their demands are met. They demanded an investigation into racism and violence by Israeli police against Africans. The rally was held after a video emerged earlier showing an Ethiopian being beaten by police in a racist attack. Ethiopians have long complained about unfair treatment and police violence in Israel.
